Joseph Newman (aged 36) guilty of a burglary in the dwelling house of Joseph Billings, draper, in the parish of St Mary Magdalen, Taunton on 23rd May 1792: stealing therefrom 2 yards of silk (called silk patch work) and other goods (valued at £18.18.6d).
